Important Information About Counselling Services
Nurturing Now provides holistic counselling services designed to support individuals navigating chronic illness, disability, neurodivergence, and identity loss. These services are offered by Sia Spark, a qualified counsellor with lived experience and professional training.
Please Note:
Counselling is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I do not provide clinical mental health diagnoses, prescribe medication, or offer crisis intervention.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, suicidal thoughts, or are at risk of harm, please seek immediate support from a crisis service or medical professional.
Counselling sessions are confidential, but there are legal exceptions — such as risk of harm to self or others, or disclosure of abuse — where I may be required to report information to appropriate authorities.
All services are provided via Telehealth, and are intended for Australian residents aged 18 and over.

Nature of Services
I provide holistic counselling via Telehealth for individuals navigating chronic illness, disability, neurodivergence, and identity loss.
Counselling is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or psychiatric treatment. I may refer you to other professionals if needed.
Confidentiality
Your information is kept confidential and stored securely, in line with Australian privacy laws and counselling ethics.
I will only share information with others (e.g. your GP or support team) if you give written consent — unless required by law or safety concerns.
Fees and Payment
Session fees are payable before or on the day of your appointment.
Sliding scale options are available — please ask if cost is a barrier.
Cancellation and No-Show

Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a pause or review of services.
Safety and Respect
I provide a safe, inclusive space for all clients. Discrimination, abuse, or harassment will not be tolerated.
If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any time, you are encouraged to speak up or end the session.
Communication
I aim to respond to emails and messages within 2 business days.
You’re welcome to communicate in whatever format suits you best — email, text, voice, or visual aids.
