Accessibility Statement
Accessibility at Nurturing Now
I believe that counselling should be accessible to everyone — regardless of disability, neurodivergence, energy levels, or communication style.
Here’s how I make my practice accessible:
Session Options
Telehealth via video, audio-only, or text-based chat
Camera-off sessions welcome
Flexible scheduling and pacing
Support people welcome in sessions
Communication
Easy Read and plain-language materials available
Visual aids and written summaries on request
I adapt to your preferred communication style (e.g. slow processing, scripting, AAC)
Environment
No travel required — all sessions are remote
Low-sensory options available (e.g. no background noise, dim lighting if video is used)
Neurodivergent Affirming
I am neurodivergent myself and work in ways that honour your sensory needs, processing style, and identity
No pressure to mask, perform, or “fit in”
If you need adjustments not listed here, please let me know. I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
